Athlétique, stratégique, créatif, spectaculaire (Ella Maillart) … le hockey sur gazon possède toutes les qualités pour plaire ! Ce sport est en outre resté fidèle aux valeurs éthiques d’un jeu d’équipe: fair-play, respect de l’adversaire, efforts collectifs, esprit de compétition. Le hockey sur gazon s’adresse à tous, garçons et filles, petits et grands, jeunes et moins jeunes, en permettant à chacun l’expression de ses qualités individuelles. Le HC La Côte a été créé au printemps 2012 à Rolle. Les enfants sont répartis en 4 équipes:
L’entraînement à l’extérieur débute en septembre et dure jusqu’à fin octobre. Il reprend en mars et dure jusqu’à fin juin. La saison indoor dure de novembre à mars. Les juniors participent aux tournois de mini-hockey dans la région lémanique. Les enfants peuvent participer à deux entraînements d’essai avant d’adhérer au club.

Field hockey is for all, boys and girls, small or tall, young or old, allowing everyone to express individual qualities. HC La Cote was founded in the spring of 2012 in Rolle.
The children are divided into 4 teams:
- U8, children born in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Training takes place every Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm.
- U10, children born in 2013 and 2014. Training takes place every Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm and every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (except during the winter months / Thursday).
- U12, children born in 2011 and 2012. Training takes place every Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:45 pm and every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (except during the winter months / Thursday).
- U15, children born in 2008 / 2009 / 2010. Training takes place every Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:45 pm and every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm (except during the winter months / Thursday).
- The club also welcomes older children who would like to try their hand at hockey, but they do not have enough players for a team under 18 at the moment.
Outdoor training starts in September and lasts until the end of October. It resumes in March and lasts until the end of June. The indoor season lasts from November to March. The juniors participate in mini-hockey tournaments in the Lake Geneva region. Children can take part in two trial trainings before joining the club.
